Good polling news out of Iowa for the GOP. Is this the start of a ‘wave’?

The latest poll out of Iowa has Republican Joni Ernst leading Democrat Bruce Braley 44%-38%:

. . .with talk of this being the start of a GOP wave:

If a GOP wave is going to happen this year, it might have started to build in Iowa http://t.co/E0L2KsXmV3

And here’s why Ernst is up:

Bruce Braley missed most of his veterans affairs committee meetings in the U.S. House, and that’s a problem for 66% of likely voters.

Obama's approval rating in Iowa has been 4-5pt lower than his national approval rating… Probably plays a factor.

Bruce Braley's comments on farmers was a big fumble that has defined this race http://t.co/E0L2KsXmV3

Why Bruce Braley trails in IA SEN, summed up neatly by one Dem voter: "He thinks he knows better than us." http://t.co/l5pWeHiPIM

More commentary:

Alaska, Iowa and Colorado have all shown similar movement to GOP. NC hasn’t moved at all. http://t.co/6EfMTzRuPz pic.twitter.com/PL623rrvZS

Increasingly becoming evident we can lose KS, fail to win NC and CO, and still gain control of the Senate, but that is not ideal.

They're farmers, what do they know? MT @adrian_gray: Iowa: Braley getting 12% of rural voters. Obama got 46% in '12 http://t.co/QMa8nfef6c
