Have fun with Fishy inside our truck… Come with me… Detailed Room tour of Krug XP cabin – Part 2 – Inside tour of our home sweet home “Big Brother” I’m Isabella and I’m from Brazil this is Fabian and he is german we’ve been overloading the world with our home sweet home home “Frank the Tank” for the past almost four years and together with our son Matheo and our two lovely dogs Uni from Spain and Basco from Germany… we are Life and Give 4×4 Subscribe and welcome to the family! The living Room Here you guys are in our lovely living room. We were in doubt about which material of the couch to take and in the end, we decided on leather because of Matheo and was one of the best decisions that we ever did in this truck
because every day this couch is dirty and its perfect. There’s also a bed you have a 1.5m bed for 2 meters you can put this up and you put all of them up and you take the pillows and you organize it differently and then you have here a full bed.
Here we have a little gimmick, that’s cool! What is behind here? Our TV! Is more than a TV is a smart TV that you can only use when you have internet… This time we decided not to get a satellite dish we only have this, because when we edit videos we use it as a monitor or when we have internet we can use it to watch Netflix and things like that and then it’s pretty cool! Things that we have this time that we didn’t have last time… Is a washing machine… and this is our baby! and if somebody asked me if it’s really necessary to have a washing machine in the truck… I would say it depends always on your lifestyle…
How many people do you have on boards… if you have small kids… for us now with a small kid, I wash every two to three days because Matheo has every day two to three outfits dirty. Here is our lovely table… don’t seem like a table but it is a table Look at this… It’s amazing! e love this table! we did this plastic extra, because of Matheo only now…
Like that, we protect a little of the wood and like that can keep longer as nice… we use the table maybe two to three times a day only when we have to eat or to work and the rest of the time when Matheo is on the floor playing on the dogs… it’s great because we have the whole space free for us then if somebody out there doubts if they want to buy a truck with Krug if they take this table or not…
I totally hundred percent say to take it because the space that you have is amazing you don’t have the legs for the table. It’s a nice feature… I like it! Done! Behind the couch is all storage… it’s nice because you are full of storage everywhere… Matheo clothes… is space… unlimited space… Here’s some storage system… Storage more storage more storage batteries We have also those windows… that’s double or triple glass… I’m not sure… that is made by Krug… they produce their windows… the blackouts and the mosquito nets The Sleeping Room Here then we have our sleeping room that is 1.5m for 2 meters bed and it’s nice because this time we have… Fabian always said that he want to have… How is “dack-luke” in English? A window on the ceiling and it’s an amazing window Fabian uses it a lot to check how the waves are every day this is the first thing that we do in the morning if we don’t sleep with the window already open at night…
The kitchen Here we are in our kitchen! Our house is really big! Here we have an induction… two plates but it’s also a combo you can do it as one plate if you have a big pot and you want to cook something here but normally we use it separately and it’s
really… you have this push button where it goes really hot fast because it’s induction then here we have our sink and we asked KRUG extra to put the plate here because we want to use this space to cut things… To use the space better and the sink is pretty nice it’s deep… and the nice part of this kitchen… what I love it… is that you have here everything that you need you to have here the soap to wash your dishes you have your water tap that is flexible everything
that you do…
You can do all the movements that you need to get not splashing water outside and here we have the filter that Fabian commented outside… that is I think five or six times filtered and we drink from that… it’s nice because we drink… Matheo also in Morocco the water from the truck… down here is all storage and more storage you have more things you bring and I’m a master off you bring lots of things… and we have it here like this nice drawer where is everything well organized from KRUG and I love it! and then you have this draw… that’s my lovely draw with spices because I love spices… and everybody that’s following me already knows that… in our older truck, I had in the kitchen a little rack with the spices this time I don’t have the rack but I managed to get inside the drawer everything that I needed and the rest is storage, storage… and here we have this time… Something, I was always jealous of other people. I have an oven! and this is great finally I have my oven it’s a combo oven – microwave and it’s amazing to have that here I do lots of lasagnas and cakes and things like that and I love it! Another thing that a lot of people know that we always wanted and in our older truck didn’t have…
It was a big fridge! and look at that… and it is right now full of beer not
because we drink so much but because we are here at the trade show in “Abenteuer Allrad” and it’s the drinks for everybody else… but it’s a nice big fridge with a freezer above it’s nice to have this space here Baby Sleeping Room and here we have the lovely space for Matheosinho, my baby! and this is his bed… it is…1.97 m the length x 70cm and it’s nice because we have this extra piece here that my mom did for us…
And when Matheo is playing there or is sleeping in there… we put this here… and then Matheo stays safe there… this goes here and then he can push and do whatever he wishes and nothing happens… and here we have then the stairs for Matheo that he’s still learning… he’s can only manage to get in the first step but he will get there On this side, we have all storage… the last box is especially for Matheo for his toys… this is what he can get on the truck nothing else than that… and then we have here… more nice stuff… here we have our dishwasher and another cool box because we realized more place you have to freeze stuff… longer you can be parked in a place because most of the time you leave because you need water… and we have right now 800 liters of water.. one tank is under Matheo’s bed and the other tank is under the couch… and the other thing that makes you live the place that you are is food…
And in this case, if we can not have fresh food, we can also have frozen food and this is great! The Bathroom and now we can go to our bathroom The bathroom is pretty cool… because it was specially designed more than me it was for Fabian… because Fabian is a bigger guy and he wants to sit here
in his toilet and he wants to have space he managed with this design to have space that
he needs to do everything that he needs to do here inside and it’s nice because, at this time, we changed our cassette toilet…
It was our old toilet… and now we have a compost toilet I will
show you guys because it’s clean for the trade show… I can open it… and I can show it because it was not in use… It is really simple but nice… everything is electric… you have a bottom where you can mix your compost or you can put a bag… Fabian explained already that… Here it is… it’s like… here’s the bottle for the pee and then the bag for the number two and yeah you have everything that you need and Matheo he’s also learning how to go to the toilet he also has his little seat… and the storage is pretty amazing! It’s more than enough for us we have full storage on this side Here is everything… then we have down here more storage and under the sink more storage… and in winter we can dry the clothes here because it’s hot… it’s heating for the bathroom and we have… what’s pretty cool on the sink…
You have the soap already there and we use it for shower… here we have the shower soap… and this is where we take a shower… this bathroom is made so that you don’t need any curtains or any door you can take a shower here and make everything wet and we decided on that because it’s less to dry out my mom did also for us with the shape of the bathroom and it’s nice… if somebody wants that my mom does for you to something… tell me… she’s great! The hall and here we have the panel… the electrical panel and for that, I bring Fabian back because he’s the best to explain all of that… I wouldn’t say I’m the best but I don’t know…
Here we have the electric panel Hi, guys back… of course, you can read… here’s the lighting… we have a router we have a 5g router 5g 4g 3g gsm from Net Module They did a great job… it’s a small box… you have four slots for sim cards but also we can get wi-fi in and this is all connected on the other side then we have here the heater is that one… that’s the 5kw heater that I showed you outside and if this is on then you heat the whole system alright so let’s check out our 5kw and 9kw heating systems either one of them is running… and open the hood and you can see here our hot water boiler um if you saw it before we had a 20-liter but now we have a 30 liter not because it’s needed but you know the 30 liter wasn’t
deliverable because of Covid and now we have a 30-liter one we have two water pumps…
We have one 400-something liter tank underneath here one under Matheo’s bed These are the two pumps here’s our floor heating system so we have a radiator this is not the floor heating and here you can have all the settings winter mode, summer mode… I’m not going to explain everything now about what it can do but we have everything like a normal household has… and this feels good we tested it we left in winter… you can see the pictures on our Instagram…
We had even to use snow chains so it was really cold… we used the heating… we tested it it was rather hot in here then, to be honest then cold so we have to figure out next year in winter we have to figure out what the settings are and then we are good the settings on the thermostats This is another pressure, so you can always see how much pressure with the liquid you have for the system So this is the heating system So let’s go back to here… so here… heater one heater two we just explained we have the engine preheat I explained also outside if I push that button and the heating is on in the cabin I can preheat the engine… we have a main pump one main pump two… you just saw underneath here… water tank one water tank two and here we have from Victron… everything is
from Victron… except our alternator that’s from a combination of KLA trucks… thanks Haiko by the way or greetings and Mastervolt… there’s one piece that we can also charge the batteries while
driving we have a second alternator and we blow up to 180 amps up to 200 but we minimized it to 180 so that the batteries don’t get any damage…
While driving or the engine is running… only the engine running gives us a lot of power here to charge the batteries so this is our Victron panel and here you can see what we have AC going out…what we have right now
we get 527… 30 watts in from up above the roof the DC system takes something we are at a stage of 46 percent which is… between 20 and 80 we are good and at 20 there’s an alarm which we never heard because we are charging up Right now we have everything running 2 to 30 volts…
Like the oven is on… coffee maker is on… because we are on a trade show and everybody’s plugged into our truck so this is really also a test for the truck and we’re still good we are still charging with 12.3 amps 24 volts right now we have a freshwater capacity of 53% left because here at the trade show it’s pretty hot so we use a pool for Matheo outside and kids that come to visit Matheo so we fill that every day and we have a freshwater capacity of 66% right now The gray water tank is 50% full I think… I’m not sure… we have 220 liters of gray water Capacity to fill and here we have a main switch… so when I push that button the whole system is off If I want to turn off all systems like being on a boat or being away from my truck for a while…
I have extra Nato or I don’t know what the switches are called… I have a couple of those and if I turn them off… and I have to always…this is a big tip for everybody out there… you think your truck is off but the solar plates are running… I mean solar is always energy you always have to take off the fuse if you’ve parked in the sun the fuses of the solar plates or you should have them I mean we have an extra fuse box This is important because otherwise, the system will never shut down because it will always get a little drizzle from the sun so that’s a good tip I guess… I had to learn my lesson. Final Thoughts Then guys I hope that you like our home… we were using the last six months… we got the car in December and we went to Spain to spend with my mom there…
With family… and then from Spain, we went to Morocco… the videos will still come or he’s already there I don’t know when this video will come out… but we have been using this for the last six months and I am pretty happy yeah we have already 12 000 kilometers on it that were a good test run like Isabela said Morocco… we had the heat… we had the dunes… we had the sand… In Austria, we had the mountains… we had the snow… so we could test you know… it’s like a test… we recommend that everybody who buys or builds a new truck should test it for a little while… and then the test scene was over we went back with the ferry after isabella broke her leg unfortunately in Morocco um we drove back with a ferry from Tangier to Genoa in this case… three days on the boat… I think Isabella will edit some videos here too pretty cool experience with the dogs, with Matheo…
Matheo loved the boat and from Italy, we drove straight to Schladming Austria where KRUG XP has its headquarters in Europe there we had the service… it was a really lovely time too… We had in Dachstein… I don’t know… in the alps… it’s very beautiful… we had an apartment because they said okay… it might be better if I’m not there when they do the service in the hall… then my parents came… we saw them after six months again… Matheo had fun with grandpa and grandma and now we’re at the trade show… so it’s a busy life… busy sorry that we don’t put out the videos regularly on Sundays but we try to get back to that Exactly! and from now on we have some pretty cool surprises which we can’t talk right now… Yes! but after this, we’re not gonna stop traveling Nope! We’re gonna take a little break with family…
Yes, but we are still living in the truck… even in my village you know… because we have this beautiful apartment and you don’t need more and this is basically what we wanted with this new truck and there is nothing that’s now I miss… It’s really… before everybody knows what’s in our older videos I would always say…
