SC asks banks to respond to Mallya’s plea against contempt notice – Times of India
The Supreme Court on Monday asked a State-Bank of India (SBI)-led consortium of banks to respond to beleagured liquor baron Vijay Mallya’s request for the recall of the contempt plea they entered against him in July. The banks had alleged in their plea that Mallya hadn’t given the apex court a comprehensive account of his assets.
