Political cartoonist Phil Hands had an ambitious idea: why not live-tweet tonight’s speech by President Obama in cartoon form? Fortunately for all of us, the speech lasted just over 15 minutes, so the project was entirely manageable. First up: the president’s assurance that a strike on Assad’s chemical weapons capabilities would not be a slippery slope into further intervention.
