How to Use ChatGPT Voice Assistant “Whisper” (Talk to ChatGPT)
Caht GPT has finally introduced voice recognition
and it’s completely free. So you can now talk to Chat GPT and use voice input to control
Chat GPT. There’s one thing you’ll need to do first though to talk to Chat GPT, so I’ll
show you how to do that real quick. The ChatGPT voice recognition is way more advanced than
Siri Alexa and Google.
It picks up accents, slang, and even if you talk fast. Okay let’s
learn how to do voice control for Chat GPT. Chat GPT “Whisper” voice control is not currently
available on the desktop version of ChatGPT, so the first thing you’ll need to do is download
the official OpenAI Chat GPT App. Watch this video here to learn how to download the chatbot app, it’s
only been released recently and is completely free here we are inside the official open AI chatbot
app now I’ve upgraded to chat GPT plus so you can see I have the options at the top of GPT 3.5 and
gbt4 and you can see down the bottom is the chat gbt whisper button just to show you where we are
inside a non-upgraded chat GPT account and you can still see the chat GPT whisper button down the
bottom back inside my normal account and let’s see how to use chat GPT voice assistant Tap The
Whisper button you’ll need to allow access to the microphone obviously and if you accidentally
skip that message you can just tap this note here and enable inside settings when you’re
ready to go just tap the whisper button again let’s see how good the voice control is for
chat GPT usually, I talk quite slowly and extra clearly to Siri but can chat GPT whisper understand
what accent as I speak at the normal speaking pace I’ll tap to stop recording and let that process
it doesn’t take chat long to transcribe voice to text and okay it’s very accurate

one translate the following into Spanish here I am talking much faster without any effort to speak
I wonder if chat GPT will be perfect for transcribing and if it can accurately
translate to Spanish I’ll again let that process great again it’s picked up the transcription
accurately and although my Spanish is far from perfect the translation looks pretty accurate
to me let’s try it the other way around Espanol is fantastic even with my terrible Spanish accent
it’s picked it up and was very quick in doing the translation so that’s a big tick to chat GPT
voice recognition so what about chat GPT whisper usage well the chat GPT API offers access to open
ai’s state-of-the-art language model meanwhile The Whisper API provides Advanced speech-to-text
capabilities that can be built on top of the chat Bots and virtual assistants this will prove to be
a game changer with productivity and efficiency in this space So currently the chat got whisper API
is only useful to developers as far as its usefulness to generic users like myself using
