Have your intern copy and paste these Fareed Zakaria original quotes

There’s quite a bit of Twitter speculation tonight regarding Fareed Zakaria’s suspension from both Time and CNN for plagiarism. Many have suggested that Zakaria’s column might have been the work of an assistant or intern.

Fareed Zakaria is the least likely plagiarist ever. Hoping there’s some explanation, even if not 100% satisfactory.

@dankennedy_nu My guess: his assistant wrote it, he just polished it up, didn’t know of the steal from Jill Lepore — best-case scenario.

"Looking for a job. I specialize in digging up old stuff and making it look like yours. Thanks." – ex-intern of Fareed Zakaria

The thing about the Fareed Zakaria scandal is, it's worse for him to admit that an intern made the mistake not him. Sad, but true.

Love that people are assuming an intern is at fault for Zakaria's plagiarism. Folks, it's his byline, his responsibility.
