The convention will start officially on Monday as planned; however, immediately after gaveling in, the convention will recess.

Looks like Occupy crowd won't get a chance to protest the GOP convention on Mon. Will they take the opportunity to bathe or look for a job?

I wonder if all of the Occupy folks will be out in the rain and wind Monday night, protesting an empty convention center.

God's trying to tell us something, y'all. Namely, don't hold a major party convention in Florida during the height of hurricane season.

I bet Cleveland is looking really good as a convention choice right about now.

Mitt Romney and Donna Brazile find common ground.

The safety of those in Isaac's path is of the utmost importance. I applaud those in Tampa making appropriate schedule changes. #GOP2012

As a native of the hurricane region in America, I sincerely applaud the RNC's decision to delay the start of the convention. #Safety first.
