Jelly Roll shared his thoughts on the effect that Taylor Swift has had on the NFL this season ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.

While speaking with Fox News Digital on the red carpet at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl Party, the 39-year-old country singer raved about the attention that the 34-year-old pop star has brought to the league due to her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“Taylor’s had an incredible impact on the NFL, and I think we should do more of that for what it’s worth.,” Jelly Roll said on Saturday. 

He continued, “There should be more cross-collateralization like that. So I thought it was really cool. It was always cool. Plus, Taylor’s the queen. Absolutely. No way to deny it.”

Since the 14-time Grammy Award winner began attending Kelce’s games last fall, viewership and merchandise sales have soared. 

Eric Smallwood, president of Apex Marketing Group, told Fox News Digital that Swift has generated $331.5 million in equivalent brand value, or EBV, for Kelce’s football team and the NFL as of Jan. 22. Apex Marketing Group, which started tracking Swift’s impact on the NFL, noted the starting value was $166 million in October.

In addition, Swift’s presence at the games and support of the Chiefs has helped the NFL attract a new fanbase, many of whom are teenage girls, according to CBS. The outlet reported that there has been a 53% increase — since the start of the football season — of girls between the ages of 12-17 who have been opting to watch NFL games.

Swift is expected to attend the Super Bowl matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs at the Allegient Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday. 

On Saturday, the Associated Press reported that the “Blank Space” hitmaker quickly departed on a flight back to the United States after finishing her Eras Tour show in Tokyo, Japan on Friday night.

Jelly Roll will also be watching the Big Game from the stands in addition to starring in two Super Bowl ads.

Last weekend, the “Son of a Sinner” singer told Fox News Digital, “I got a Super Bowl ad with Uber Eats. That’s the wildest thing happening with me right now.”

In the ad, Jelly Roll is putting away items in a bathroom when he sees himself in a mirror and looks shocked at his tattooed appearance, declaring that “they’re everywhere … and they’re horrible!”

“You know they say there’s a little bit of truth in every joke? There you go,” he said of the commercial’s concept, though he didn’t specify exactly which of his own tattoos he regrets.

On Saturday, Jelly Roll told Fox News Digital that shooting the commercial was “awesome.”

“We filmed for eight hours, so I didn’t expect that,” he recalled. “It was a lot of fun. A lot of fun.”

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Friday that Jelly Roll will also appear alongside fellow musicians Lainey Wilson and Valerie June in a PSA for the healthcare advocacy nonprofit organization Power to the Patients.

According to the outlet, the organization wrote in a statement that the goal of airing the ad “is to force hospitals and insurance companies around the country to publicize actual prices for their services and procedures in advance instead of billing patients after the fact.”

During his interview with Fox News Digital, Jelly Roll reflected on how he feels about using his platform to help others and effect positive change.

“It feels good, but it’s also one of those things that I don’t recognize how good it feels. I just assume everybody’s doing it or should be,” Jelly Roll said. “If God was so gracious to give us all a platform, I think we should use it to the best of our ability. That’s all I’m trying to do.”

While at the Fanatics party, Jelly Roll encountered Peyton Manning on the red carpet. When asked what the football legend said to him, the singer told Fox News Digital,”He just walked up and said, ‘What’s up, Jelly? How are you doing? You been recording at all?’ He talked to me like we just hung out for breakfast this morning. It’s the coolest thing ever.” 

Jelly Roll previously told People Magazine that he is “struggling” to decide which team he is rooting for at the 2024 Super Bowl. During his interview with Fox News Digital, the singer shared his opinion on the Chiefs and the 49ers.

“Kansas City, man, Patrick Mahomes is arguably one of the greatest to ever throw a football,” he said of the quarterback. “I think that he could come for Tom Brady’s records. I believe that in my heart if he stays consistent.”

“But [49ers tight end] George Kittle is my boy, so I’m always cheering for George,” he added.

A Florida man was arrested after he attempted to snatch a 4-year-old boy from inside a CVS pharmacy in Miami Beach, Florida, on Thursday, police said — but luckily, the boy’s quick-thinking father came to the rescue and dragged the would-be kidnapper away.

The frightening incident, which was captured on CCTV, took place at around 11:55 a.m. when the boy and his parents were leaving the pharmacy located on the corner of Collins Avenue and 74th Street in the city’s North Beach area, according to WPLG Local10. 

The brazen suspect, identified as 26-year-old Nicolas Sternaman, can be seen walking into the store before he suddenly turns and bends down to grab the boy by the neck.

FLORIDA MAN ARRESTED AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY ATTEMPTED TO KIDNAP CHILD FROM WALMART: POLICE

The footage shows Sternaman lifting the child off the ground and turning to face the store’s door to leave when the father pounces on the suspect and pulls Sternaman away from his son.

The boy can be seen falling to the ground while his desperate mother races to her child’s defense by picking him up and scooping him to safety inside the store.  

As she does so, the boy’s father wrestles with Sternaman for several seconds and even rips his jacket off him before the suspect bolts through the door and flees the scene. 

A witness and the father chased Sternaman southbound on Collins Avenue where he took off his sweater and tossed it, WPLG Local10 reports, citing police.

Police officers joined the pursuit and arrested Sternaman along Harding Avenue near 71st Street, about three blocks from the CVS.

Sternaman is facing felony charges of aggravated child abuse and kidnapping a child, according to the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation website.

Sternaman, who lives in a penthouse at the Mirador 1000 condominium in South Beach, was also arrested for petit theft on Jan. 3 and was released on a $150 bond, WPLG Local10 reports, citing Miami-Dade County court records. 

The outlet reports that Sternaman refused to explain to police why he had allegedly tried to abduct the child.

“Be aware of your child every second because in one second they can be taken away,” the boy’s father warned viewers of WPLG Local10, while his mother described the incident as “terrifying.”

Witness Zachary Jefferson explained to CBS News what he saw unfold.

“I was just standing at the register and paying for my items and I look … and there was a guy just fighting another guy. And I thought it was someone trying to take the lady’s purse,” Jefferson said.    

“Everyone was just shocked because it was so quick and it was so fast. The guy just came out of nowhere.”

“Real Time” host Bill Maher suggested it’s not too late for Democrats to dump President Biden at the DNC convention this summer following the explosive special counsel report. 

During a panel discussion Friday night, Maher revived his nickname for the president, “Ruth Bader Biden,” following Special Counsel Robert Hur’s revelations about Biden’s cognitive abilities. 

“I said he was going to be the Ruth Bader Ginsburg of presidential politics… He stayed too long at the fair,” Maher said. “Bubbling up this week… he won’t do the Super Bowl interview, which is not a hard one, mixing up all the world leaders and then this report that came out.”

“Republicans are brilliant at using this. This is a little bit like the Comey letter, a little like the Starr report,” he later said.

And I don’t think it is because I still think you can do it at the convention. People have said to me, ‘Oh, that’s ridiculous. They’ll look like-‘ They’ll look like nothing. Nobody gives a f— what they do at the convention.”

Authorities have exhumed the body of the wife of a famed former Tennessee sheriff more than a half-century after she was fatally shot in a still-unsolved killing.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirmed that it oversaw the exhumation of the body of Pauline Pusser on Thursday at Adamsville Cemetery. She was killed by incoming gunfire while in a car driven by her husband, McNairy County Sheriff Buford Pusser, a figure whose legend was captured in the 1973 film “Walking Tall” starring Joe Don Baker and a 2004 remake starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Various sites in Adamsville continue to attract tourists interested in the sheriff’s legacy in west Tennessee.

TEXAS POLICE IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN NEARLY 30-YEAR-OLD COLD CASE MURDER USING DNA LEFT AT SCENE

A TBI statement said the agency received a new tip that led agents to find that there was never an autopsy performed on Pauline Pusser’s body.

“With the support of Pauline’s family and in consultation with 25th Judicial District Attorney General Mark Davidson, TBI requested the exhumation in an attempt to answer critical questions and provide crucial information that may assist in identifying the person or persons responsible for Pauline Pusser’s death,” TBI spokesperson Keli McAlister said.

Pauline Pusser was killed in McNairy County on Aug. 12, 1967, and a previous iteration of the TBI, then named the Tennessee Bureau of Criminal Identification, was called in to investigate. The investigation into her killing has remained active, McAlister said.

The Tennessean cited an Aug. 13, 1967, publication of its newspaper that says Pauline Pusser was killed and her husband was “seriously wounded in the jaw when Pusser’s prowl car was fired on at dawn on a lonely country road.”

The Selmer police chief heard a call on the radio from Sheriff Pusser, and he and his wife were found just north of the Tennessee-Mississippi state line on U.S. 45 — the sheriff sitting behind the wheel, and his wife lying on the seat with her head in his lap. The Tennessean reported. The Pussers had been heading to investigate a complaint.

Investigators found 14 spent 30-caliber cartridges on the road where Pusser said the shooting occurred about three miles from the state line, according to The Tennessean. The Pusser car was hit 11 times.

In the archived news article, The Tennessean quoted an investigator who said they believed the couple had driven into a trap.

Buford Pusser spent six years as sheriff beginning in 1964, and aimed to rid McNairy County of organized crime, from moonshiners to gamblers. He was allegedly shot eight times, stabbed seven times and killed two people in self-defense.

The 2004 movie remake doesn’t mention Pusser by name and is set in Washington state.

Buford Pusser died in August 1974 in a car wreck the day he agreed to portray himself in the “Walking Tall″ sequel.
