MAN 2-ALARM 92 8TH AVE, MULTIPLE DWELLING BUILDING COLLAPSE,
— FDNY (@FDNY) October 29, 2012
The New York City Fire Department rushed to the scene of a partial building collapse tonight at 92 8th Avenue. Early reports indicate that emergency crews responded to a fire at the address. It’s currently unclear if Hurricane Sandy had any part in the collapse of the building’s facade, but reports of a full “collapse” of the building are incorrect.
