Poland’s Prime Minister demands apology from Obama over ‘death camps’; Update: Press secretary calls it ‘simple mistake’
As Twitchy reported last night, history is above President Obama’s pay-grade. During a medal ceremony, he referred to “Polish death camps,” sparking outrage. Twitter responded this morning by giving President Obama some much-needed history lessons, but Poland’s Prime Minister also wants an apology.

More from Bloomberg.
Poland demanded a “strong and clear response” from the U.S. after President Barack Obama’s mention of a “Polish death camp” while honoring a Pole who told the world about the Holocaust.
“We can’t accept such words in Poland, even if they are spoken by a leader of an allied country,” Prime Minister Donald Tusk told journalists in Warsaw today. “Saying Polish concentration camps is as if there was no German responsibility, no Hitler.”
Why so huffy at being falsely accused of having death camps, Poland? The One simply “misspoke.” You know, like corpse-man. He’s never wrong!

@llondo Apologizing to Poland would mean Obama did something wrong. And we know he never does anything wrong.

And how can he be expected to remember pesky old history? Obama and his Choom Gang were busy with other matters the day that was taught.
Does Obama NOT know Hitler invaded Poland? Or did he just not care? Or was he high the day that was on the European history exam?

Twitter agrees with Poland’s Prime Minister and offer up explanations to the president while apologizing for him.

Kerry forgot Poland and Obama implies they had death camps in WW2. Do any Democrats know how much Poles have given for the cause of freedom?

A simple mistake is all. Sigh.
