Olympic CEO assures Sen. Menendez Olympic uniforms will be USA-made

Sen. Robert Menendez (D, N.J.) assures us that America’s Olympic uniforms will be produced in the United States beginning in 2014. Twitchy reported earlier today on the outrage over the uniforms’ “Made in China” label.

Ralph Lauren is committed to producing the Opening & Closing Ceremony uniforms for Team USA in the US for the 2014 Olympic Games

Designer Ralph Lauren earlier had given his assurance that the uniforms would from 2014 be produced domestically, but Menendez’ tweet seems to prove that it is now a done deal.

Now to those other nagging issues…
