Gallup: Obama’s post-convention bounce is gone

http://twitter.com/#!/keithboykin/status/248104476915933185

The latest Gallup numbers show President Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney by 1 point (47 to 46), down from a 7-point lead one week ago.

Gallup polled registered voters, not likely voters. Romney does better in polls of likely voters.

If Gallup was using LV instead of RV, they would probably show a bigger Romney lead than Rasmussen shows. Yet media ignores Rasmussen.

Note that 7 percent of the sample was undecided. In races that include an incumbent, most undecided voters usually end up voting for the challenger.

Clearly, Romney is still very much in this race, notwithstanding the anti-Romney MSM narrative.

Interestingly, Obama is polling at … 47 percent. Wait, does that number sound familiar?

Obama has 47%, according to Gallup. Explain to me how Romney was wrong, again? #TCOT
